Marcus Gebauer worked for more than a decade in various management roles and in the German management of Claritas and Acxiom, leading international companies in the field of marketing information and customer relationship management, before founding his own customer intelligence consulting company, cuinco, in 2009.
As a consultant and manager, Marcus Gebauer has over twenty years of experience and solution expertise in the holistic design and implementation of data-driven strategies, measures and processes for the monetization of customer relationships. From a large number of cross-industry projects, he knows all the relevant success factors for using customer intelligence to sustainably optimize marketing and sales activities.
He can draw on a wide range of successful consulting and customer intelligence experience with well-known companies in the financial services, insurance, healthcare, media, telecommunications, energy supply, automotive, consumer goods and retail sectors. This applies to both the business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) segments.
As part of the European acquisition by Acxiom in 2004, Marcus Gebauer led the merger of the former competitors Claritas and Consodata into the newly created DataConsult division as a member of the management team. He has international corporate and leadership experience in successful business transformation and change management processes.
Marcus Gebauer is a proven expert in the fields of micromarketing/geomarketing, customer segmentation and CRM, on which he also appears as a speaker at specialist conferences and as an author in specialist books and journals.
Since 2020, Marcus Gebauer has also been supporting ecolabels in the area of digitization and sustainability in e-commerce. His experience in developing holistic solutions that enable ecolabels to seamlessly share product certification data with the digital world has been incorporated into the development of the so-called ESG Datahub, where he acts as Co-Counder and Associated Partner.
